Mission Statement
Founded in 2019, Faithfull Films aims to be a force for good and a game changer within the UK’s mammoth film industry.
We have three pillars from which Faithfull Films was born, these pillars aim to challenge and improve standards within TV & Film in the North West and across the rest of the UK, while of course telling amazing stories.
Representation
We will address the inequality and barriers of entry into TV & Films. All in-house productions will have crews made up of at least 50% LGBTQ+, women, BAME and underrepresented groups. We will also offer opportunities for people to gain work experience and step up in roles in all areas of production.
Green Sets
We will have ‘green sets’ as much as possible. We will do this in a number of ways as well as embarking on larger ‘green’ infrastructure projects over time. Some of the first steps that we are taking to lower our carbon footprint include; no plastic water bottles on sets, car sharing and managing food waste from shoots.
Storytelling
We will tell dynamic and engaging stories to appeal to a wide range of audiences whether that be, female led, LGBTQ+ or other underrepresented groups. We believe that the UK still has a lot to do in order to create equality both in TV & Film and in society as a whole and will be a part of ongoing change.
